Marine Engineer

Work Ready Start Up Kit

Goal: Help young people step confidently into employment or training.

 

Each kit includes:

  • Industry related work shirts X 2

  • Steel-cap or safe shoes (where needed)

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Notebook and pen

  • Go Card top-up or transport voucher

  • Hygiene kit (deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste)

  • Resume & job-readiness guide

  • Encouragement card: “You’ve got this — every step counts.”

 

Impact: Builds confidence and readiness for employment while reducing barriers for youth starting work.

 

Sponsor a Work Ready Kit:  $200

 

Partner with: NBHD, Overflow Foundation,

Crisis Care Kit

Goal: Restore dignity and provide comfort to youth in crisis or experiencing homelessness.

 

Each kit includes:

  • Reusable backpack

  • Blanket or compact sleeping bag

  • Clothing essentials (socks, underwear, shirt)

  • Toiletries kit (soap, toothbrush, deodorant, wipes)

  • Non-perishable snacks

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Grocery or food voucher

  • Encouragement card: “You are seen. You are valued. You are not alone.”
     

Impact: Meets urgent needs and connects youth with care, compassion, and local support services.

 

Crisis Care Kit:  $100

Sport Start Up Kit

​

Goal: Support youth in building physical and mental strength through fitness and discipline.

 

Each kit includes:

  • Boxing gloves or wraps (or suitable sport equipment)

  • Gym towel and water bottle

  • Gym shirt and shorts

  • Hygiene kit

  • Encouragement card: “Strength starts with showing up.”
     

Impact: Promotes self-discipline, positive routines, and improved physical and mental health.
